History

Darro Electronics has been engaged in the repair of digital and RF circuitry since 1988 specializing in printed circuit board repair including SMD technology. The company quickly built up a reputation as an innovative and sophisticated service and repair organization. This has resulted in Darro Electronics repairing printed circuit boards and devices for most major brands, to name a few Panasonic, Canon, Nashua, Gestetner, 3 Com, US Robotics, Nokia, Imate, HP, Psion, Apple.

Darro has of late changed it's repair focus to Handheld technology and now concentrates repair efforts on Windows Mobile technology devices.

 

Anti Static Precautions

 

The anti-static equipment that is utilized is manufactured by Bijl Barnveld. All technicians and staff handling ESD sensitive devices are grounded using heel straps and wristbands.
Work on ESD sensitive parts is only carried out at static safe workstations on grounded static dissipative work surfaces.

 

Research and Development

 

Darro Electronics is completing a Graphic Aided Repair Program, which enables technicians to diagnose components/boards and complete repairs interactively. Darro Electronics also has the ability to develop electronic hardware, we currently use the Pic range of micro controller’s for most projects.

 

Quality Control

 

With respect to technical quality control, Darro Electronics technicians complete a test sheet with all repairs, which accompanies each repair. Quality control is performed prior to dispatch to the customer.

Copyright, patent rights and all other intellectual property rights are strictly protected. Non-disclosure, confidentiality and restraint agreements have been concluded with all staff members.

 

Turnaround Objectives

 

Darro Electronics achieves a 48 hour turnaround to its major customers in the Gauteng area (networks, dealers and service providers).
