1. Start -> Settings 2. Connection Tab 3. Connections -> Advanced Tab: Click on “Select Networks” 4. Click ‘New’ 5. On Enter a name for these settings type MTN MMS 6. Click on Modem 7. Click on “New” Enter a Name for the Connection: MTN MMS Select a modem: Cellular Line (GPRS) Click ‘Next’ Access point name: mymtn Click ‘Next’ User Name: mtnmms Password: mtnmms Click ‘Finish’ 8. Go up to the main screen and select Start->Messaging 9. Go to Tools and click on MTN MMS 10. On ‘Connect Via’ select MTN MMS 11. Select the ‘Servers’ Tab 12. Click on ‘New’ 13. Server Name: MTN MMS 14. Gateway: 196.11.240.241 15. Port: 9201 for WAP 1.2 OR 8080 for WAP 2.0 16. Server Address: http://mms.mtn.co.za/mms/wapenc 17. Connect via: MTN MMS 18. Sending size limitation: 100k for WAP 1.2 OR 250k for WAP 2.0 19. WAP version: WAP 1.2 OR WAP 2.0 20. Click ‘Finish’ 21. Click ‘Set as Default’ |
